Summer is just around the corner, and it's getting warmer each day. But the temperature lingers between 65 degrees and 70. Occasionally, a sprinkle or thunderstorm will come down, but that's pretty much it. Not too hot, and not too cold.
News
June 8th ;; A huge trailer of horses arrived at Maple Creek this morning, all who were rescued from an abandoned farm a couple miles from here. Please go and see if you would like to claim any horses, since they all need someone to look after them. You must be atleast an intermediate rider to claim and be the official caregiver of the horse.

Flash is a big butt. He loves getting into things and causing trouble. But when around people , he's really sweet. He has a really smooth trot and canter, so would be great for any beginning advanced rider, but once he senses that the rider doesn't have control, he will take serious action and not listen. He also needs a rider with soft hands, since he will throw his head up and even buck sometimes with a rider who has tense hands.
